Manipulated cash buyers out of propertyEllen Frink was the listing agent on a property that we put an offer in of $340.000 cash full price in August 2016. We purchased the property for cash in August 2016. Ellen Never took the property off the market until we hired an Attorney to obtain possession in November 2016. Ellen continued to reduce the price while we had an offer accepted. Ellen further continued to have open houses on the property in October even after we closed on the property in August. Ellen encouraged the seller to withhold releasing the property to us after the August closing date. This went on for over four frustrating long months. Ellen presented us with NUMEROUS extensions and we agreed to all of them. Ellen continued to list and shows the property during that time frame. Ellen convinced to seller to reduce the price by $20,000 due to issue the seller created.
Ellen continued to reduce the listing through December. It became so frustrating and unprofessional, we had to obtain an Attorney to obtain possession and ensure Ellen updated the MLS to show the property had a current pending accepted offer. Ellen still listed the property as pending after we went to court and received a judgement to release possession. Ellen never listed the property as SOLD. The seller decided he did not want to honor the $20,000 reduction in price and refuse to sign and close. While she reduced the price much lower than the seller would receive from takin our original offer of $340,000. We recognized it was their intention to make us walk away from the offer. We will never purchase a property with Ellen or her Agency listed on the listing ever!!! Nightmare from beginning to end! Finally resolved the matter the later part of December after four months of unprofessionalism and stalling for the seller.
She cause us to need to hire an Attorney to resolve her mess she created with her seller. This was all totally unnecessary and the Agent could have prevented it in the bud from the beginning. We received absolutely no respect as a cash buyer and the seller refused to give possession due to the actions of this agent.
